Facing threatening warm-weather days before Christmas Eve, QParks Parkdesigner Rudi Wyhlidal and his team had serious doubts if their exhausting efforts were worth it, as they ran in danger of loosing everything again. They really put their sweat and soul for putting up one of the best freestyle snowparks in Europe. Now, the result is a real ‘snow-wonderland’ that without a doubt proves that they have made everything rightly and the Swatch Snowpark Sölden stands as one of the first parks in Austria in awesome shape!

Waidmanns Heil ! Nach einem guten Start in den fetten Winter 2008/09 musste ich mich leider nach einem Tag Filmen bei den „Outdoor Games“ in Chamonix Anfang Februar nach 2007 schon wieder auf den Operationstisch verabschieden.
Mein Knie hielt einem hohen Cliffdrop nicht stand und es verabschiedete sich mein rechtes vorderes Kreuzband. Am Ende konnte unser Team aber trotzdem abräumen und den Titel der „Outdoor Games“ nach Österreich holen – was zu einer ausgelassenen Party in meinem Krankenhauszimmer in Innsbruck führte!Â
Mit einer mega Unterstützung durch das sportmedizinische Zentrum „ALTIS“, wie ihr im Film sehen könnt, bin ich jetzt wieder super fit und konnte schon wieder die ersten Cliffs und feine Powderlines genießen.Â
Vor allem freue ich mich heuer mit sicken Völkl Klamotten und dem neuen Scorpion Schuhen von Dalbello zu shredden, weiters bekomme ich vollen Support durch das Hologramm von Power Balance !Â
