It’s been a busy couple years in the Burton household to say the least. Two seasons ago, message boards were spawning an avalanche of hate on Jake Burton and Donna Carpenter’s brand, retailers were fed up and dropping lines, rumors were swirling about the company’s profitability, and news of layoffs were coming from its Burlington, Vermont headquarters.
