What does one do after earning a spot on the podium in slopestyle at the Winter Olympics?

If you are Norway’s Ståle Sandbech, you celebrate by turning your flowing locks of hair into an incredibly large mohawk.

Sandbech, who won bronze medals at X Games Aspen 2014 last month for slopestyle and big air, was awarded the silver Olympic medal at the medal ceremony Saturday night in Sochi.

Thanks to massive snowfalls in the recent weeks, the Engadin valley is currently abundant with snow, offering the perfect venue for this extraordinary freeride event. Lots of big names in freeriding (skier and snowboarder) have gathered to be part of world’s only parallel freeride event.

In order to present the most dynamic pictures possible, every participant carried an onboard-camera. This clip of round 1 is filmed entirely from the perspective of onboard-cams. The event had to be stopped after round 1 because of high blowing wind. Be curious how the 12th edition of ENGADNISNOW 2014 will proceed on Sunday.

Canadian bobsledders posted pictures of themselves wearing few articles of clothing but lots of facial hair.
