Exploring the Sierra Crest via kite and touring gear. With the F-One Bandit 7 and Atomic Tracker bindings, its hard not to get anywhere you’d like. For the past 4 years I’ve been accessing terrain along the crest and in this vid I try to show and explain this alternative method of backcountry travel. This video was shot over 2 consecutive days/ sessions, about 3 hours a piece. and covering about 20 miles of the PCT.
First practice day at The Arctic Challenge in Oslo, Norway. The event is presented and hosted by legendary snowboarder Terje Haakonsen. Danny Davis has arrived and joins the riders, including Arthur Longo and Olympic Gold winner Iouri “iPod” Podladtchikov, for their first session in the pipe. The riders are in Oslo to take on a creative halfpipe with additional features included in the set up, in their quest to continue the progression and the future of snowboarding.
