Doors separate two spaces. It’s a necessity, sometimes a curiosity to get to the other side of the door. People have expectations what the other side will be. Most of the times the other side shows up as expected. But sometimes…, sometimes the new room shows up nothing like expected.
The other side of the door can show up fascinating, passionate and pure of stoke. But SOMETIMES the other side shows up sad, painful, dark and violent.
Snowboarders dedicate their life to the search of spaces of pure stoke. Following their natural curiosity they explore these spaces in the mountains, in the streets, in the parks. Sometimes they find these pure moments of stoke. Sometimes…, sometimes the door snaps closed behind, and they get trapped in the violence of the dark.
