Tadashi Fuse spent most of the 2013 season riding the Whistler backcounty… by himself. Tadashi’s driven like no other. He knew that in order to accomplish his goals for the year, coordinating with other riders, sharing filmers, and compromising, just wasn’t going to work. So he set out every morning, hours before other crews, and hiked, sledded, dug, and explored with only his equally dedicated filmer, Taro Koeji. What’s even more amazing is that most of his footage from last season was from entirely new jumps, and un-ridden pillow areas that were massive hikes from where you can get your sled to.

I went to Stubai, Austria for a week to go snowboarding and get warmed up for the season because I heard they had some big jumps! The guys over at Prime Park Sessions had built something fierce. Good times catching some air, and running into a few friends as well.

A spell happened itself upon our slope that is Boreal. There is no diagnosis nor locution to even begin a dictum in regards to Her (Boreal’s) day-to-day going-ons. She attracts those who believe and who act. She beckons through the wind for more; from the Wind itself and from within. She holds an intrinsic knowing capable to only those who feel and allow their magnet to respond to Hers. Though you are entitled to your doubts, we have, for your viewing pleasure, documented proof of Her sorcery. Despite this spell binding visual article acting as proof, perhaps it is also evident of a knowing that we are finding in ourselves.
Well now, I suppose that we will just have to keep boarding to find out.
