From the beginning the idea behind this trip was quite simple. The plan was to rent a cabin in the mountains and spent a week together with some friends discovering the area and riding new trails.
Everyone of us has it´s own story about what motivates him to get on the bike. In our eyes it doesn´t need expensive trips to exotic places, endless kilometers of the raddest trails or the ambition to always push the envelope, to make mountainbiking something special. It´s appeal rather lies within the simple joy of going out there with your friends and explore your surroundings, wherever that might be.
After the first promising ideas we started our trip the following summer, spending a couple of days together with Jonas Jannssen, Fabian Thiemo-Scholz, Rick Schubert and Carlo Dieckmann in Carinthia – Austria. Especially because this region hasn´t really been on the map as a bike spot yet it was the ideal starting point for our journey.
