The 2009 Gravity East Schedule has been finalized as of today. Below are the dates! Listed beside each date are the events that will take place. New for this year is a Gravity East Series for dual slalom! Gravity East finals will again take place at Plattekill Mountain in October. This year at the helm as series Director is Daniel McDonald of DHD Promotions. The series is comprised of 11 downhill races with the best of eight determining the champion with a $5,000.00 finals purse.
This is a USA Cycling sanctioned series and is also part of the USA Cycling Pro Gravity Tour with UCI World Cup Points up for grabs…. Details

Montana Senators Jon Tester and Rep. Denny Rehberg are each proposing legislation to undo a ban on sales of mini-bikes and parts for them.
The off-road motorcycles and ATVs were unwittingly banned as a result a new national limit on lead in children’s products. It has left dealers holding thousands of the machines and even forced the cancellation of some motocross racing.
Dealers say it is silly to think children will eat their mini-bike parts.
