Lockdown back yard Rampage series Ep3. We are getting up to all sorts of mischief now with this quarantine going on and on. This week the roof of my house turns in to a mountain bike skate park quarter pipe. I suck at BMX and skateparks so this wasn’t easy for me but had so much fun filming it. As always biking is keeping us sane whether it’s at home or out in the woods. Wow I love bikes. – Brendan Fairclough
I looked in the garage – saw a ramp, an RC Car and a bunch of mountain bikes. A little brainstorm ensued and next thing I knew we had a game to occupy an afternoon. Any time I have a dumb idea that could perhaps be fun, I know I can count on Dusty Wygle to take the bait and head over to my house to be my opponent.
The game: A longjump contest
The catch: Each competitor takes their longest Mountain Bike jump and their longest RC car jump, adds them together and the longest combined total wins.
Not far from home is a video series facing the new reality that this crisis has brought to us. This summer we will not be traveling to exotic places to ride our bikes. This summer we need to rediscover our backyards. Enjoy what is around us, ride “not far from home”. Since there will not be any racing for me this summer I have decided to use this time to explore Spain and enjoy the riding spots that are near me. This first episode was filmed at the beginning of the year in Malaga while trying to get away from the cold winter in Madrid. We went to some of the classic spots Like Mijas or Alhaurin de la Torre and discovered some new trails with the help of the locals in Torremolinos. One week of good times captured in by Nacho Trueba. – Iago Garay
