We probably talk about bikes way too much in the Dirt office. Sometimes it’s about a new product that’s just turned up, other times it’s about a rider or a photo, and then occasionally we get all nostalgic and start rabbiting on about various random things from the past. I think it was one of those occasions that led us to discuss what products or innovations we thought had changed mountain biking and helped turn it into the sport that it is today. We could think of loads of great products over the years, but had they changed our sport?
