For years, the Post Office Jumps in Aptos were a gathering place for riders and friends. It was a place of inspiration and encouragement, where big tricks were laid down and memories were made. Before the Post Office Jumps were torn down, Trek C3 riders Brett Rheeder, Ryan “R-Dog” Howard, Brandon Semenuk, Cam McCaul, and Tom Van Steenbergen enjoyed the final months of sessions in Aptos.
After long days of dodging bad weather, the SMITH team headed up the pass through the Southern Alps towards the Canterbury high country, the home of popular winter ski fields just outside of Christchurch and some epic mountain bike terrain.
