The Swiss Alps offered up the new “classic” track at Lenzerheide, coupling steep technical and high speed, with dust and heat. The Trek World Racing riders had a solid outing with Laurie Greenland picking up his first ever World Cup win, and Brook MacDonald backing up his top 10 result in Leogang with another top 10. George crashed in his race run but showed his speed by matching race winner Greg Minnaar in the middle sector. Greg Williamson salvaged some points and improved his overall position after crashing earlier in practice and damaging his shoulder.
