A MOBILE skate park has been bought to tour the area’s schools.
The portable facility is scheduled for a pitstop at Sir John Talbot’s Technology College during half-term, when it will be sited on the school’s tennis courts.
The skate ramps are open to children aged from seven and all sessions are free.

High gas prices have put more bicyclists on the road and into the path of oncoming cars in Berkeley, where the number of collisions has shot up in the past four years. Berkeley police say the number of bike riders hit by cars in the city rose 70 percent from 2005 compared with the first 10 months of 2008. More Info…
Does anyone know how the rash of “Day In The Life” videos got started anyway? Not that it’s truly important, but I seem to notice it popping up more and more these days. I hate to even bring it up, but did it start with the BMX version of 411 video magazine? Remember that thing? Good in theory, good riding, good people, good music and pretty good videos all around. But since the people behind the project weren’t BMXers, it sometimes didn’t translate so well. Remember the infamous Brian Castillo bow-legged table cover?
