One of my close friends recently broke the Guinness World Records for the longest time on a wakeboard (at a staggering 7 hours, 4 minutes and 27 seconds), all to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The best riders in the world descended upon Liverpool’s famous Albert Dock for a cable contest on the unique and progressive course, where Austrian rider Dominik Hernler beat off stiff competition from Thailand’s Daniel Grant and Australia’s Aaron Gunn to claim top spot on the podium.
