A pair of mates in South Australia have made the most of the storms that devastated the state by taking the rare opportunity to wakeboard through a flooded vineyard.
Luke Cooper said he and his family had been trapped inside their Langhorne Creek home since last Wednesday when an intense low pressure system caused torrential rain and led to a statewide blackout.
By Saturday the 22-year-old was well and truly over it and decided to venture outside to make the most of the dour situation.
“We didn’t have power so we decided to go outside and hit the water,” he told The Adelaide Advertiser.
Using a tractor Mr Cooper towed his 21-year-old friend Ryland Willis on a wakeboard through a flooded local vineyard.
