The University of Tennessee won the team title at the 2011 Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships, May 13-15, in San Diego, Calif. The sixth annual Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships, part of CBS Sports Network’s Alt Games, was held at Mission Bay’s Hidden Anchorage Cove. Highlights from the event will air nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Tennessee tallied 570 points in winning its first national collegiate wakeboard title. Chico State, the 2010 national champion, finished runner-up with 540 points. On June 18th 2011, the best boat and cable wakeboarders and wakeskaters will be competing for the Freestyle Wakeboard Crone at the legendary stadium pool in Cologne/Germany. With three olympic size pools, challenging obstacles from UNIT Parktech, as well as the Sesitec System 2.0 two tower cableway, this will be the most spectacular Wakeboarding Event in the world.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Wakeboarding without needing a boat is the object of a proposed recreation park that would be situated just south of the Pony Express Regional Park in Eagle Mountain.
Wasatch Wake Park would initially have two man-made rectangular lakes, each 100 feet wide and 680 feet long, where wakeboarders would be pulled from one end of the lake to the other by an overhead cable system. A second phase would add a circular lake approximately 620 feet by 700 feet with an island in the middle that also has an overhead cable system  … Details
