The IFCA championship calendar for 2009 is complete. The final Notice of Race for this year’s series of major championship events has been published today – the Junior, Youth & Master Slalom European Championship. This event takes place from 11th to 16th August at Schoenberger Strand, Kiel, Germany.

The IFCA management committee have focused on developing young talent in all disciplines, without conceding the importance of their showpiece championship, ie the Slalom World Championship.

Sailboard – Kauli Seadi confirmed in the 2009 JP Young Guns Classic

Following the resounding success of the 2008 YGC, which saw 55 Scandinavian young guns make the pilgrimage to Klitmøller in Denmark, the 2009 event aims to become an even bigger and better affair.

Taking place between the 11th to the 18th of October, the organisers are hoping for 80-100 young guns to attend the event, which has opened its doors to the international windsurfing community for 2009, allowing a global crowd of kids and their families to mix and mingle….  Details
