The opening day of the 2012 PWA Podersdorf Surf World Cup was blessed with scorching sunshine and a gentle refreshing breeze, as temperatures hit 30 degrees. Sailors spent the morning registering for the upcoming competition, whilst the afternoon proved to be a relaxing affair, as sailors and spectators both took the opportunity to soak up some rays.

The first few days of the 2012 PWA Reggio Calabria World Cup proved to be a frustrating affair, with light winds and a variety of weather conditions. However, the final two days saw the event finish with a flourish as one race for the men, and two races for the women were completed.
