At the JP Aloha Classic, conditions are continuing to cooperate allowing for five out of six days to be run so far. We have seen both the AWT Pro and PWA Single Elimination completed and the decision was to dedicate Tuesday to the continuation of the Amateur, Women and Masters fleets with the PWA and Youth riders released. The sixth day of the JP Aloha Classic saw the AWT resume after the PWA fleet were released at 10am, due to the wave quality not living up to yesterday’s high standards and with an epic forecast for the remainder of the week the decision was made to delay the start of the double elimination.

With plenty of downtime we caught up with Kauli Seadi (JP / Hot Sails Maui / MFC) – who finished second in the single elimination in his first event of the year – and also had a quick chat with Marcilio ‘Brawzinho’ Browne (Goya Windsurfing / MFC):

At the JP Aloha Classic, the biggest names in windsurfing came head to head at Ho’okipa today for the Single Elimination of the in what has been dubbed the ‘Clash of the Titans’ with the top PWA and AWT riders pitted against each other in the mast high surf. As the NW swell continued to build through the morning so did the action.
