This September I travelled to Morocco for some filming with Professional Windsurfer Flo Jung. This short flick produced for the “Fiat Freestyle Team” is just a small teaser of all the footage I filmed there. There´s more to come soon.
Thanks to Bouj – the other windsurfer in that clip – I had an amazing time there full of nice moments, surfing, Tajine, Green Tea Marocan style (loads of sugar and mint) and getting to know new people I wanna call “friend” now.
Beside that I learned to eat with fingers again, now I am more relaxed about cockroaches than ever and found out that you should not pass in front of a guy praying.
Morocco is crazy – it appeals all your senses.
A country I will visit again and again and again.

Sharks: Fact And Fiction
Surfers have plenty of theories about what attracts sharks and what makes a spot sharky. Peeing in your wetsuit. Blood. Colored wetsuits. Rivermouths. Murky water. Deep canyons. Et cetera. In the interest of separating fact from fiction, SURFING Editor-at-Large Taylor Paul brought a list of these theories, which he gathered through an informal survey of the SURFING staff, to present to Dr. Salvador Jorgensen, a research scientist and shark expert at the Monterey Bay Aquarium — and also a dedicated surfer.
