Today invited 30 of the world’s top international riders to a sublime spot for freestyle. Lagoa de Cauipe is a renowned spot for excellent conditions with strong wind, flat shallow water and provided the perfect setting for the KPWT Superkite freestyle single elimination.
Local media teams, hoards of local spectators and travelling kiteboarders all crowded the lagoon to enjoy the exhilarating freestyle competition that was on show today. Following in the footsteps of the event being planned in SA, WAKSA is organising a fund raising downwinder to support Redkite – a charity supporting children and young people through cancer.
The inaugural WAKSA Redkite Downwinder will be held on Sunday 6th December 2009 and will give participants an opportunity to raise $$ for Redkite.
