Entering its eighth year, the 2011 San Francisco Ocean Film Festival will come rushing back with five days of ocean-inspired films, panel discussions and more, March 9-13, 2011 at Theatre 39 on PIER 39.
Located at the edge of the Bay and next door to presenting sponsor Aquarium of the Bay, the theatre enables continued exploration and appreciation of San Francisco Bay and all marine environments, above and below the water line. Stay tuned for Festival announcements including film and pre-event lineups and much more.
CALL FOR ENTRIES
We are now accepting ocean-related films that entertain, educate or inspire for the 2011 festival.
– Any genre: documentaries, animations, narratives, montages, and other traditional and experimental work
– Ocean-related topics, including ocean sports and adventures, ocean-related environmental issues, marine sciences, ocean exploration and coastal/island culture and history
– No restrictions on length, when the work was produced or whether it has previously been screened elsewhere
