Part1, A devoted number of kite surfers graced the Broadwater this afternoon, Hamming across the flat water between Wavebreak Island the Esplanade of the Boardwater, these greyhonds of the sea cost their riders thousands of dollars to be kitted out with a sail and rigging. With speeds over 30 knots they are the fastest wind powered craft today.
The Kitesurf Tour Europe (KTE) has announced the draft schedule for the 2011 contests. There will be six stages, starting off in Spain, in the month of May.
The KTE 2011 will also visit six countries: Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Poland and France. The last competition will be held in October.
