The world of kiteboarding is joining forces to hit the 2016 Olympic Games’ goal. In Canada, the local wind riders now have an official governing body. The Canadian Kiteboarding Association (CKA) has been formed and will join the International Kiteboarding Association (IKA), the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) recognized world-governing body for the sport of kiteboarding.

For the first time in the history of the event, the Tobago Carnival Regatta will host a kiteboarding competition, from 17th-20th February. Run by Brett Kenny and Keith Wyke, the contest will feature pro kiteboarders brought by the kite brand Cabrinha.
