Sam Light and Tom Court circumnavigate The Isle Of Wight kitesurfing on hydrofoils in just under 6 hours. Join us on one of the most epic days kiteboarding I have ever experienced. I grew up sailing around the solent and always fancied kiting around the Isle Of Wight, hydro-foiling has made it way more achievable. It’s been on my mind for many years and this week I knew there was solid south west wind all week, I woke up that morning and decided to go for it. I called my mate Tom Court who lives on the Isle Of Wight and he was up for the challenge, we figured out the tides, packed a bag and set off. I took my phone in a dry bag so my Dad could track me and potentially make a call if I got stuck. We took our time and made it round in just under 6 hours, it was an epic day with a few close calls around the needles and St Catherine’s Point.
