Longtime friends Jesse Richman (Naish) and Nick Jacobsen (Cabrinha) recently traveled to the biggest kiteboarding event in Argentina: Kitefest at Cuesta Del Viento. Turning up the big air competition, the two left their friendship on the shore, upping the ante with each turn to boost bigger and better than the other. Watch Jesse set what just may be another world record, as he jumps the 170 foot (nearly 52 meter) expanse of rocks and onlookers with his Naish Torch in the latest film by Forrest Dein, which celebrates the competition and camaraderie between these two epic kiters.

An honor to became part of that list of those one that ride that wave, and more when you been sharing that day with most of your idols from surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Just to be waiting for the sets next to legends like Robby Naish, Jason Polakov, Kai Lenny, Jesse Richman, Shane Dorian or Kelly Slater… and was a situation that I still don’t belive.
The days getting longer and longer, the sun shines almost whole day and makes the spring in Arctic fantastic! The weather forecast sad 1 m/s but they missed out a zero! Perfect powder condition in late April with steady 10 m/s. I will remember this day!
