Paul Cayard has sent this update on his whereabouts and on the Artemis Racing Team’s AC45 capsize.
Cayard writes:Â It was mid-December when I last wrote an update. A lot has happened since the RC44 regatta in Miami with regard to our America’s Cup project. I was recently in Valencia for a couple of weeks working with Juan Kouyoumdjian and our design team who are based there. We also had a team meeting that lasted three days.
America’s Cup Event Authority (ACEA) has released the inaugural America’s Cup World Series (AC World Series) dates with five nine-day regattas in 2011 and three more regattas by mid-2012. The final venue bids are still under review and the winning host cities for the 2011-2012 AC World Series will be revealed in the coming weeks.
