LAKE HAVASU CITY – Thirty juniors ages 10- to 15-years-old arrived at Crazy Horse Beach for a two-hour training seminar from the personal watercraft racers they idolize.

Professional PWC racers taught them techniques important to becoming a world champion at the Ride with the Pro’s Day, a precursor to the IJSBA World Finals, which get underway today.

Lee Stone a British Jet Skier from Chesterfield, England has clinched his fifth World title having been crowned IJSBA Pro Freestyle World Champion for 2010 after competing at the International Jet Sport Boating Association World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

The 19 year-old was one of 15 RYA National Jet Skiers to represent the UK at the 29th Annual World Finals. 667 entries from 36 states of the USA and a total of 37 Nations attend the games in a bid for 48 World Titles, including 43 closed-course racing classes, three slalom classes as well as Pro Freestyle and Amateur Freestyle provided World Champions at the eight day competition  …  Details

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Tuesday morning saw the start of racing at the 29th annual IJSBA World Finals, with novice and amateur personal watercraft racers from around the world finally getting their chance to show what they can do.

The first race of the day was amateur runabout 800 limited. Thanaphan Punjunun, of Thailand, won the first moto of the day, followed by Antonia Claros, of Bolivia, and Craig Ingram, of Oklahoma, in third.
