The zapcats were at Watergate Bay, Cornwall. Small, light and powerful inflatables race a course set through the surf close to shore. Great to watch but pretty hairy for the crew. POWER boats thundered in for an action packed weekend of racing in Penmaenmawr.
The Adrenaline Coast Festival featured powerboat races and displays from the Thundercat Racing team – as well as live music in the party on the prom.
Organisers said it brought in much needed trade for local businesses in Penmaenmawr but admitted the weather had affected the numbers turning out over the two days.
