I wonder if she knows now how fortunate she was to have been able to experience that wonderful encounter? This little girl just experienced what VERY few people on the planet will experience. I’ve been out in the kayak to watch the whales but I think that was way too close – lucky they didn’t breech the water. Wasn’t it in OZ where the whale breeched, landed on a 30′ yacht and smashed the mast coming down. I don’t think the canoe would fair that well.
