The Ferrari market rises and falls in cycles influenced by the global economy, generational shifts and currency swings. The collectable Ferrari market was last a buyer’s market just after the double whammy of the real estate crash of 2007 and the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy in September of 2008. That market bottomed in 2010 and started a strong recovery, peaking in 2014. As we look back to the heady days of 2014, we then received only one or two calls or emails a day from people who wanted us to help them to market their Ferraris. There were more buyers than sellers. Today, we receive half a dozen calls or emails every day and the number is growing. The roles have reversed. Today there are more sellers than buyers.

The Ferrari 488 GTB is the first turbocharged, mid-engine Ferrari since the legendary F40 in the 80’s. That is a lot of pressure for a new supercar to live up to, but the Fezzer shone through in our first drive in Italy.
So, what else could we do but pit it against the incredibly fast Porsche 911 Turbo S? The Ferrari might be less practical and more expensive, but its performance can easily give the 911 a run for its money!

1/2 Mile Race between an iconic 550 horsepower Ford GT and 887 Horsepower Porsche 918 Spyder at Pike’s Peak in Colorado. The Porsche 918 is driven by 13 year old Steven Aghakhani and the Ford GT is driven by his father Armik. We really appreciate that this father and son team raced these rare and expensive high horsepower exotics all day long at the Pikes Peak event.
