The Bugatti Veyron dominates in top speed against this Yamaha R1 while they race down a “moterway” in Germany. Very impressive top speed from the Veyron is what we look to expect from this elite vehicle. Not many cars can out run a Yamaha R1 motorcycle. This video clip is somewhat crude but you actually get to see a Bugatti Veyron racing in a top speed race. For the price of the motorcycle it keeps a respectable tail following the Bugatti. Impressive, at least the cyclist can somewhat keep up with this Veryon in a top speed race!

Bugatti vs. Yamaha R1 vs. Porsche Carrera GT

63Not the usual historic FIA GT suspects, but an exciting, eclectic grid of early 1960s racers will battle it out on track at the Silverstone Classic in July.

The historic race event organisers have announced the pre-’63 GT race, brainchild of racer Ben Cussons, as symbolic of the Silverstone Classic’s effort to showcase original race cars on a level-playing field rather than in a more traditional FIA context of combined pre-’66 classes.

Participation is limited by invitation only to GT cars built and homologated before January 1 1963, from AC Cobras to Short Wheel Base Ferraris and Aston Martin Zagatos, all models which were built to be driven on the road and raced on the track.

But the point of the 19th annual Copperstate 1,000 vintage sports car rally wasn’t the price of your car but the enjoyment it provided on a 1,000-mile (well, actually a 1,010-mile) four-day tour of a good portion of Arizona.

The Copperstate 1,000 is staged by the Men’s Arts Council of the Phoenix Art Museum. The men’s council was organized in 1968 to provide volunteer night guards for the museum. It has grown to become the largest annual financial contributor to the museum…  Details
