Jaguar will return to top-level international sports-car racing in the American Le Mans Series later this season.
Paul Gentilozzi’s Rocketsports Racing team will join the series with an XKR GT2 racer at either Lime Rock Park or Mid-Ohio in July and August, respectively. This will be a precursor to a full season in 2010, which will include an attack on the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Gentilozzi, a former outright winner of the Daytona 24-hour race with Nissan, explained that he aims to produce a car that is “competitive on the track, representative of Jaguar’s racing history and economically viable for customers in GT2 around the world.  Details
