For a new guy, Porsche CEO Matthias Muller sure is doing a lot of talking. First it was the NASCAR thing, and now Muller has let fly more information on the Porsche Panamera Hybrid.

Last week Matthias said he had driven a plug-in hybrid Porsche Panamera. This is a bit surprising, as the Cayenne hybrid is not a plug-in and it was long rumored that the two would share drivetrain components.

There were long faces in the pits during Petit Le Mans testing Sunday at Road Atlanta, because on-and-off rain showers drenched the 2.54-mile racing surface. But the “bad” weather provoked nothing but smiles in the Porsche Motorsport pits.

Porsche Museum Celebrates with Special Exhibition

Oh, and then there are the price tags: $1.3 million for the Bugatti, a mere $14,295 for the BMW.

But at this moment, we’re not worried about the numbers.
