Words can’t really describe… the ultimate Pagani Zonda, epic V12 sounds, smokey donuts, flames from the exhausts, sideways action, one crazy experience.
In short, Nonno is a Pagani Zonda in 760 spec (like the 760RS and 760LH), it started as the 2nd ever Zonda to be built and has since been upgraded over 14 years and 1,100,000km on the clock to the feature the 760hp engine and the bodywork from the Zonda Cinque. It’s widely regarded to be the ‘ultimate Zonda’.
This experience was something out of this world; pushing the car to the limits in more way than one from the moment the car slides out of the Pagani gates. Hopefully further explanation isn’t needed, just watch the video!
The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2013 was held June 24-30 at Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The 91st annual “Race to the Clouds” is the second oldest motorsports race in America.
An international field of 146 competitors, 63 automobiles and 83 motorcycles challenged the 12.42 mile, fully-paved course with 156 turns that begins at 9,390 feet and ends at the 14,110-foot summit of Pikes Peak, where the air is rare. As the drivers climb toward the summit, the thin air slows reflexes, saps muscle strength and robs engines of roughly 30% of their power.
