No stranger to pain and mutilation, action-sports star Travis Pastrana enjoyed getting dinged by Ken Block‘s Ford Fiesta while shooting a cameo in the new Gymkhana 5.
“I was a little wobbly and he actually ran me over one time, which was pretty funny,†Pastrana said with a laugh while preparing to run NASCAR and Global RallyCross at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “That didn’t make the cut.â€
The viral video is the fifth in a series starring Block, a World Rally Championship veteran who speeds, spins and drifts his way through an obstacle courses set in unique locations.

DC and Ken Block present Gymkhana FIVE: Ultimate Urban Playground; San Francisco.
Shot on the actual streets of San Francisco, California, GYM5 features a focus on fast, raw and precise driving action. Filmed over four days, director Ben Conrad and his team are back to work on their second Gymkhana production and delivered the entire city of San Francisco as Ken Block’s personal gymkhana playground. DC Shoes also provided fellow DC athlete and longtime Ken Block friend, Travis Pastrana, to make a cameo appearance on his dirtbike, and S.F. resident Jake Phelps of Thrasher Magazine fame also makes a cameo as Block hoons S.F. in his most incredible Gymkhana yet.
Toomas Heikkinen Injured in RallyCross Crash at X-Games, Finnish RallyCross driver Toomas “Topi” Heikkinen broke his left ankle and suffered abdominal injuries in a crash into the metal jump ramp on the X Games RallyCross course Friday during practice runs.
Heikkinen, 21, came up short on the 50-foot gap jump, taking a head-on impact and dropping upside-down into the gap on the RallyCross course. He crawled from his car after the accident and was treated for the ankle injury and abdominal pain, according to X Games medical staff. X Games medical staff reported he was awake and alert and after through examination of his head, chest, abdomen, pelvis and back, his injuries were limited to his ankle.
The front end of his Ford Fiesta rally car sustained significant damage in the crash and fluids from the car caught on fire after he had left the vehicle. Jump practice was canceled after the crash. Heikkinen is not expected to compete in Sunday’s finals.
