Teammates Corey Perin, a technician with Hendrick Automotive Group, and Kevin Moler, Hendrick Motorsports machinist, won this year’s Randy Dorton Hendrick Engine Builder Showdown when they assembled the final Chevrolet R-07 engine in 27 minutes, 26 seconds.
They say everything is bigger in Texas and that was definitely true last weekend for Danica Patrick. Texas has always been a good track for Patrick, whether in IndyCar or NASCAR. With her best finish of 4th coming at Texas just last year, high expectations were already set before her tires hit the asphalt.
