Just what can one man do with six grandfather clocks? That’s Jimmie Johnson’s latest predicament after securing his sixth Martinsville Speedway victory on Sunday.

Martinsville’s traditional grandfather clock came with the win, and Johnson has collected five of the timepieces in the last six races. Does he put them all in his trophy room? Or does he spread them around his expansive Charlotte home? Or maybe he lends them out to friends and family.

This includes Jimmie Johnson’s victory in Sunday’s Goody’s 500 at Martinsville Speedway, which just so happens… Details

In NASCAR racing, something I always find a little perplexing is the complaint that today “the cars all look alike” and how “back in the day” the cars were different from each other. Having lived through decades of racing, I’ve gone through a good chunk of the recent technology arms race and remain puzzled that people complain about how homogenized the cars are….  Details and Pictures
