Brawn GP’s Jenson Button won the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday, giving the Briton his third win in four Formula One races this year.

Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel was second, 7.1 seconds behind Button, and Toyota’s Jarno Trulli, the polesitter, took third at the Sakhir circuit.

Button now has a 12-point lead in the drivers’ championship, with a two-week break before the series heads to Europe.

Working through the pack has never been a problem for Graham Rahal. If he keeps his car running and avoids contact, chances are he’s going to move up.

Qualifying? That’s been a little tougher. Well, at least until this year.

Rahal earned his second pole in three races at Kansas Speedway on Saturday and will be joined on the front row by surprising teammate Robert Doornbos and Danica Patrick for Sunday’s Road Runner Turbo Indy 300.

“Qualifying has always been our issue and I think a lot of people kind of expected it would be our issue here again,” Rahal said. “Certainly, it hasn’t been.”

Since Codemasters relieved Sony of the rights to the official Formula One licence back in May of last year, little has been heard of which games would be taking advantage of the licence.

Today Codemasters revealed details of the first two games that are to be released under the Formula 1 licence, with F1 2009 hitting the PSP and Wii this autumn, and F1 2010 following next year on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Codemasters, which has significant experience in the racing genre with Dirt and the upcoming Fuel, promised that the games will have “the most authentic and thrilling experience possible.”   …  Details
