TT Lambo’s seem common these days, but they are always impressive to see! Our friend “Mullet” brought his “X Package” Underground Racing TT Lamborghini Superleggera to TX2K where it was tuned up, pushing over 2000HP for the Roll Racing event where he continually broke speed records – pushing well over 200mph! He definitely got his money’s worth from the event – making pass after pass, getting faster and faster each pass!
Drag racer Tommy Johnson, Jr., drove a Funny Car 326.08 mph in a thousand feet at Pomona Raceway in California late last year. Pomona is in the middle of the city, and was built when race cars weren’t so fast, and the runoff area at the end of the quarter-mile track is perilously short, and can’t be extended without rerouting roads.
That had to be the scariest ride on the circuit, right?
