Kai Barger spent a little more time at home this fall. In doing so he traded points on the WQS for clips in the hard drive vault. We are stoked on his efforts and put together a season’s edit. A few clips from our film Attractive Distractions interlaced into his productive start to the winter season. Kai often surprises us in his well rounded surfing, further showcasing Maui as the hotbed for talent.
Pipeline is the Yankee Stadium, center court at Wimbledon, and the Melbourne Cricket Ground of surfing. Surfers grow up on the myths of the hallowed reef break, and magazines write biblical lines in its honor while young surfers read them more fastidiously than their school books.
