On June 1, 2011, Meg Roh paddled into a wave at a popular Southern California surf spot, and in a manner of speaking she’s still enjoying that ride.
Meg, now 17, has not missed a day of surfing since, and on Wednesday morning, in shoulder-high waves at the same location, her remarkable streak reached five years – or 1,827 days.

The Rip Curl Pro 10th Anniversary and Pro Photographer showdown happened May 27th – 29th 2016 at Cox Bay Tofino. After the three-day extravaganza in British Columbia, where a $10,000 prize purse was dispersed amongst a frothing pack of northern North America’s best surfers, California pro Kevin Schulz stood atop the podium after dominating fun, chest-high surf at Cox Bay to win the Pro Men’s division of the 10th Annual Rip Curl Pro Tofino in front of a packed crowd of local surf fans.
At the 3rd annual Rip Curl Pro Photographer showdown, Tom Curren, Pat Curren, and Vince Vaccaro free styled the guitar, while photographer Mike Bromley won the showdown with an amazing photo reel.
