Across the U.S. River surfing communities are popping up. This is due, in part, to cities cleaning and reclaiming their river waterfronts. Glory, terror, pain and relief. The Red Bull Cape Fear contest this past week brought out just about every emotion that surfing can pull from your heartstrings, and did so in a way that will forever be engraved in our memories. So to celebrate, let’s reminisce on this highlight cut from the two days of mayhem at Cape Solander. Congratulations are a due to Russel Bierke for taking the win, but we can safely say that everyone who walked away from this contest in one piece is a champion in their own right.
This video retells the story of a journey into the Whitsunday Islands aboard Le Cochon Noir. The week was spent Kitesurfing, Windsurfing and Stand Up Paddle Boarding the beautiful blue waters and white beaches of the remote Archipelagos.
We discovered isolated uncrowded perfection and enjoyed many great moments on board Le Cochon Noir.
