Lakey Peak boy Bronson Meidy has been island hopping between Java-Sumbawa-Bali this year. 2016 has been a year of positives for the young phenom. Moving to Bali to continue his schooling and gaining more contest experience and exposure. 2017 will be even better for this kid.

The holidays have a tendency to make people go a little crazy. Time starts to bend, things sneak up on us, and before you know it, the joys of the season have passed us by. But for those lucky enough to be on the North Shore of Oahu this Christmas, a lovely gift was waiting in their front yard that begged the abandonment of all those holiday woes. Paddle boarding though ice bergs in New Zealand. Being able to walk on water is one of the greatest feelings you can have thanks to paddle boarding. We hiked about 15 minutes from the car park of Tasman Glacier to the river where we pumped up the boards. Cheers to Maria who joined me on this paddling trip.
