SurfSnowHouseXchange.com the world’s first and only house exchange website for the surf and snow cultures. Ex-pro surfer and owner Navrin Fox came up with idea of Surf Snow House X-Change, ‘I now have a family but I still have an incredible thirst for travel. With the current state of the world economy it’s really expensive to travel.
I wanted a way to be able to bring my family with me on my travels and that really inspired the concept of Surf Snow House X-change. Why spend thousands on accommodation when there are other people just like yourself willing to help each other out.’

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE (FINF) is partnering with Surf Diva, INT Softboards and the La Jolla Shores Hotel to sponsor an annual surf program called the Little Warriors Surf Camp in order to provide children of wounded and fallen service members with an escape from the daily reminders of why they’re different from other children. The camp gives these special children a fun and physically challenging outlet that they might not otherwise have been afforded.
Additionally, at the conclusion of the camp, each child will receive his or her own surfboard so that they can continue to live the surfing lifestyle – one that encompasses sport, spirituality, physical fitness and emotional well-being. The camp will take place at Kellogg Park in La Jolla Shores, CA, from August 10-14, 2009. One child and his or her parents will receive an all-expenses paid trip to San Diego to attend two days of camp, a visit to Sea World or the world famous San Diego Zoo, and dinner at La Jolla’s finest restaurants, including world-famous George’s at the Cove, courtesy of FINF and the La Jolla Shores Hotel. ISA and ASP 2004 World Champion, SofÃa Mulanovich, has confirmed that she will be a part of the Peruvian Team for the Billabong ISA World Surfing Games to be held in Playa Hermosa, Jaco, Costa Rica from August 1- 8.
“Yes, I will be in Costa Rica for the Billabong ISA World Surfing Games representing Peru in this great event”, said SofÃa. “I love representing Peru in Latin American countries. It feels like being at home, in a country where they speak your own language. It is a better experience than competing in a far away country.”Â

Beachgoers flocked to the Jersey Shore this weekend, but none enjoyed themselves as much as a group who gathered on the beachfront to catch a wave, some for the first time.
The Life Rolls On Foundation held its second annual “They Will Surf Again” [TWSA] event at Pier Village in Long Branch on June 28, and according to a post-event press release, more than 25 participants and 200 volunteers gathered to make a day of surfing possible for people with spinal cord injuries.
