Surfing – Big Island to host stand up Paddle Hawaii Isle Finals

The Stand Up World Tour is once again proud to be returning to the Big Island of Hawaii for the 2011 Hawaii Island Finals that will start this weekend at Honoli’i Beach Park. Surfing – Champion to be crowned Wednesday at the Reef Hawaiian Pro Haleiwa

If you were to compare Tuesday’s action to the first week or so of this year’s waiting period, it was absolutely firing. If you were to compare today to your average 6 star WQS event, the waves were fantastic. But compared to the waves seen at Haleiwa events from the past, it was incredibly underwhelming.
