Surfing America’s USA Championships came to an exciting conclusion at the Lower Trestles in San Diego County, California, on Saturday, June 23, 2012. The swell was choppy and the surfers made the most of what Mother Nature had to offer. Here’s a quick rundown on some of the results:

The Surfrider Foundation works on numerous projects: cleaning beaches, advocating for the environment, working to protect the waves where surfers play.
