Posie Mansfield was all smiles as she hit the beach Friday and surfed for the first time in her life.
Mansfield, whose leg was amputated in 2010, said the experience of riding a wave to the shore was amazing.
“I’m going back out there first chance I get,†Mansfield said. “I felt free and light.â€
