Adam Melling and Lee Wilson go off the beaten path to travel to the remote Indonesian Island of Sumatra for some “Fun in the Sun.” The boys end up getting just that, scoring fun right-hand barrels and air sections for days. As Melling departs for the Trestles comp in Southern California, Lee jumps on another plane to throw caution to the wind at Lagundri Bay in Nias.

The Quiksilver Pro in France battle was waged in perfect pounding tubes at La Graviere, where three of the semifinalists are world title contenders
Kelly Slater still enjoys pro surfing. The Floridian scored 19.93 points to defeat Kieren Perrow in the Quarterfinals of the 2012 Quiksilver Pro France.
Perfection is not a human condition. Slater posted a perfect 10-point ride and a 9.93 backup score to secure the highest heat-total of Quiksilver Pro France competition and his spot in the Semifinals, in pulsing six foot (2 metre) swell.
