No matter how outside the box and seemingly impossible the trick, when Scott Vine sets his mind to doing something, the dude is gonna either do it or die trying. Seriously. When some riders do the one-foot schtick it gets construed as circus stunts, but Scott’s unstrapped antics are so big and smooth that you can’t do anything but respect the skill, style, and consequence. It is hard saying if we like the fs 180 one-footer on Boreal’s sixty-foot tabletop at the one minute mark or Scott’s FS 5 one-foot ender more, but either way they are both mint!

This year alone, Kanoa placed 2nd at the Nike U.S. Open Pro Junior Tournament, 2nd at the King Of The Groms Global Championships in France, and became the youngest ever Under-18 U.S. National Champion. Last year he shattered the NSSA record with an astonishing 30 surfing victories in a single season! With a fierce competitive streak that runs through every aspect of his life, Kanoa is certain to be a force to be reckoned with in the years and decades to come.
